Hi! My name is Kelly and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work primarily with young adults from all backgrounds in an open and inclusive environment. It is important to me that you feel safe, seen, heard and respected. Therapy sessions with me focus on friendships, romantic relationships and family dynamics that contribute to mental health. I believe that gaining insight and understanding into the families we grew up in can help us break unhelpful patterns and highlight themes that might be causing distress in our current lives. I also particularly enjoy working with those who have ADHD or are wanting to get tested and learn more about this neurodevelopmental diagnosis.

I incorporate the use of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy with attachment theory from a trauma-informed framework. I am also trained in Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
My style of therapy looks like organic conversation with my clients. I see my role as being a supporter while also holding a mirror up to my clients so they can better see and understand their thoughts, beliefs and actions that are keeping them stuck. My goal for therapy is to help you better understand yourself and achieve whatever goals you have set out to meet. I am so honored and lucky to be a part of others’ journeys toward healing.
ART is a psychotherapy technique rooted in existing evidence-based therapies that provides rapid relief from distressful trauma symptoms, anxiety, and other issues. ART is used to treat betrayal trauma, PTSD, and other forms of trauma. Clients suffering from other mental health challenges can experience remarkable benefits. Some of these challenges include: Addiction, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Grief & Loss, Family Issues, and Phobias.
ART works by temporarily reactivating the traumatic memory using relaxing eye movements. When the memory is accessed it can be permanently changed using ART's protocols and techniques. While the client knows that the changes are not the actual memory, it provides a new start for the client. The clients Trigger Origin is changed or removed which provides rapid emotional relief. ART's motto is to keep the knowledge and lose the pain. Once the session is complete, you will still have the facts of the memory, but you will lose the painful images, emotions, and sensations that were once a part of the memory.
