Now Accepting New Clients - Call 218-606-1100
Hello, my name is Marc Letendre. I am a Master’s Level Clinical Intern. I believe in a holistic approach to counseling, which places a premium on mindfulness. For me, working towards ensuring that the mind, the body, and the spirit are in balance is key for optimal health. I am solution-focused and believe that the most effective way to deliver care is through collaboration. From my perspective, you (the client) are the driving force behind crafting therapy goals; my job (as the counselor) is to serve as a subject matter specialist and a partner. I address therapy from the position that you are the best judge of what you need from therapy, my job is to provide the tool upgrades and technical advice to accomplish those goals.
I am ready to help work with you on any number of issues you may want to process including (but not limited to) depression, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, struggles with substance misuse and abuse, and relationship conflicts. After working in Emergency Servies for over two-decades (where I trained and worked as a police officer, firefighter, and paramedic) I have a deep understanding of the unique stress of the job and the issues surrounding hesitancy to speak with a counselor. My door will always be open to first responders and their families and loved ones.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the guitar, and being outdoors. In addition to my current pursuit of becoming a licensed professional clinical counselor, I hold a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University (psychology/philosophy), and a Master’s of Arts in Emergency Management from Adler University.
If you think I can be of service to you, please contact our office to schedule an appointment.
