My name is Sophie Averill, and I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have experience working with adolescents (ages 12+) and adults navigating a wide range of challenges. I recently completed my clinical practicum with a focus on crisis intervention. My approach is flexible and client-centered, drawing from various therapeutic methods to best support you and your individual needs.
As a working mother, I understand the complexity and challenges that can come with prioritizing your mental health. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role as a clinician is to support you on your journey toward achieving your personal mental health goals. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where you can feel heard and empowered.
Outside of the office you can find me with my kids, husband, and animals. I enjoy spending time outside, being with family and friends, and let’s be honest lots of Costco runs.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you in your mental health journey.
