Hi, I’m Zoё. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Brainspotting Therapist. Life can be challenging at times. Sometimes, we face adversity that creates anxiety, fear, and a sense of helplessness. It is hard to face that alone. Asking for help is difficult and it’s a courageous thing to do. My role is to provide clients with support and guidance on their healing journey. I aim to create a safe place where my clients feel heard and validated, a place where they are comfortable exploring the ways in which they can harness their strengths, build resilience, feel empowered, find balance, and lead happy and fulfilling lives.
I believe that healing happens in safe spaces, and I understand that people are more than the problems they are experiencing. If you are encountering difficult life challenges, trying to manage anxiety or mental health issues, or wanting to talk about past experiences, I am here. My role is to provide support and guidance on your healing journey. I work with clients who have experienced a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and grief.
Everyone has strengths that can help them through the healing process. It’s one reason I take a strengths-based approach to therapy. I help clients understand their strengths, increase self-awareness, develop insights, and work through issues. There is power in vulnerability, healthy connections, and creating liberating experiences that foster safety and self-empowerment.
I take an integrated approach to counseling, drawing on Person-centered, Relational Cultural and Narrative models, as well as using Cognitive Behavioral and Motivational Interviewing strategies.
I believe that self-care is essential. I love dogs and recognize the healing power of nature. I am an avid kayaker and hiker, who recently began mountain biking.
